For 50 years, quality has been fundamental to the way Aqua Technics Pools are designed and manufactured.

From our Western Australian beginnings to a growing presence across Australia and international markets, we have continued to invest in the expertise, technology and manufacturing processes behind every pool.

In 2026, the manufacturing operation behind Aqua Technics Pools reached another significant milestone, achieving independent certification across three internationally recognised management standards:

This was followed by the granting of StandardsMark Licence SMK41900 to AS 1838:2021, covering the design and fabrication of premoulded fibre-reinforced plastic swimming pools.

Together, these certifications provide independent recognition of both the systems behind our manufacturing operation and the standards applied to applicable fibreglass swimming pools.

For us, achieving these certifications was not about introducing an entirely new way of operating.

It was about putting five decades of manufacturing experience, systems and processes through rigorous independent assessment against internationally recognised standards.

The business behind Aqua Technics Pools first achieved independent fibreglass pool product certification in 1984, followed by ISO 9001 certification in 1991.

The certifications achieved in 2026 build on that longstanding commitment to independently recognised manufacturing standards.

Quality Management

ISO 9001:2026 provides an internationally recognised framework for quality management.

It independently recognises the systems supporting consistent processes, customer and regulatory requirements and continual improvement across our manufacturing operation.

For Aqua Technics Pools customers, it provides another level of confidence in the systems behind the quality and craftsmanship of their pool.

Environmental Management

Quality manufacturing also means taking responsibility for how we operate.

ISO 14001:2015 recognises the systems used to identify, monitor and manage environmental impacts across our operations, including environmental risk, waste, resource use and compliance.

It provides a structured framework for responsible environmental management and continual improvement.

Occupational Health & Safety

The people behind our pools are just as important as the finished product.

ISO 45001:2018 recognises the systems in place to identify workplace hazards, manage health and safety risks and support safer working practices.

Together, the three ISO certifications provide independent recognition across quality, environmental management and workplace health and safety.

Independently certified fibreglass pool manufacturing
Our history of independent certification extends directly to the product itself.

On 3 September 2026, the manufacturing operation behind Aqua Technics Pools was granted StandardsMark Licence SMK41900 to AS 1838:2021 – Swimming Pools: Premoulded fibre-reinforced plastics – Design and fabrication.

While the StandardsMark Licence is a new achievement, it continues a history of independently certified fibreglass pool manufacturing dating back to 1984.

This longstanding history means independent product certification is not new to the business. The latest StandardsMark continues a commitment to recognised manufacturing standards that has been part of our approach for more than four decades.

Following independent auditing by SAI Global Certification Services under JAS-ANZ accreditation, the three ISO certifications were formally achieved on 20 August 2026.

The new StandardsMark Licence SMK41900 followed on 3 September 2026.

For our customers, dealers and industry partners, these certifications provide independent assurance that the manufacturing operation behind Aqua Technics Pools works to internationally recognised management standards across quality, environmental management and workplace health and safety.
