This June, Aqua Technics Pools invites you to take the plunge not only into refreshing waters but also into a noble cause. For every swimming pool sold during June 2024, Aqua Technics Pools will donate $100 to the MND Big Freeze, a campaign dedicated to combating Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

What is MND?
Motor Neurone Disease, also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), is a progressive neurological condition that affects the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles. Despite advances in research, there is currently no cure, and the disease has a devastating impact on patients and their families.

The MND Big Freeze
The MND Big Freeze is an annual fundraising event that aims to raise awareness and funds for research into MND. Participants, often including high-profile personalities and community members, take on the challenge of being dunked into icy waters, symbolising the ‘freezing’ effect MND has on the body. The event garners widespread support and generates significant contributions towards finding a cure and improving the lives of those affected by the disease.
