Saint-Remy Wins National Gold Award

After winning gold at the SPASA WA Awards of Excellence 2022 in the Pool & Spa Combination Category; this Saint-Remy went on to also collect a gold medal in the SPASA National Awards of Excellence 2022!

The owners are a water family – beaches, rivers, pools. They had previously had quotes but never pulled the trigger but the timing was right, travel was hard so they thought why not have some luxury in your own backyard. They wanted a single level from the back door straight to the pool area while retaining enough space for the kids to play.

Part of the stunning brick feature wall needed to be removed during the installation process.  Matching bricks were then sourced by the customer to re-build it. The client was keen to keep several existing trees that needed to be trimmed in order for the pool to be installed.

The extended seating ledge in the pool provides added structural strength, allowing it to be situated near the boundary.  The patented surface protection system ensures the vibrant blue finish will retain its colour and sparkle for years to come.

The integrated spa was a must and the pool size as big as they could fit in the space. The pool design also had some great features and allowed for flexible use, like the long steps and seating across a full side while still being almost 2 metres at the deepest point.  The ability to have a hot spa on cold, raining winter nights was the clincher. The colour choice was about creating a strong contrast and really making the pool jump out against the concrete the recycled brick wall and the row of ornamental pear trees.
