Offering features for every member of the family to enjoy, this Avellino pool installation by Aqua Technics is both stylish and functional.
The cherry on top of a home renovation at Mosman Park, the brief for the installation was to complement and amplify the new style of the owners’ home.
“The owners renovated their house while overseas, choosing a fresh, Hamptons style,” Aqua Technics Marketing Manager Maree Voss told New Homes.
“They wanted to ensure this new look extended to their outdoor living space, and the Avellino pool in Hamptons Blue finish was the perfect touch.”
The finish is complemented by Ibiza Grey travertine paving that winds around the pool, presenting a well-rounded coastal charm and making a stunning statement.
Ms Voss said the pool installation maximised space to give the owners a stunning display that would entertain their family and guests for years to come.
“With two very active boys aged eight and 10, the owners felt they were the perfect age to enjoy a backyard pool, providing hours of entertainment for them all,” she said.
“Despite being a small area, the owners still wanted enough width so it wasn’t dangerous for the kids to ‘water bomb’ into the pool. The Avellino was the perfect size for their backyard.”
The 6m by 4m pool was fitted with a range of features for convenience and comfort.
Located at the shallow end for easy access, corner entry steps ensure an uninterrupted area for end-to-end swimming.
LED underwater lights make for a sparkling feature at night, while a 9-kilowatt heat pump means the pool can be enjoyed on colder days and for longer periods.
A wide seating ledge runs the length of the pool and provides a welcome place to rest after swimming a few laps, and glass pool fencing means views from the house are unobstructed, making supervision easy.
