Australia’s Best Pools – Aqua Technics Valentina

Showcased on an episode of Australia’s Best Pools was this gorgeous 8m by 4m pool which complemented the modern architectural structure of the home. The client added the pool to create a luxurious outdoor living area where they could unwind as a family and socialise with guests. To ensure its modern aesthetic, the clients had the house designed to include a pool area. The result is a beautiful two-storey home with the top floor cantilevered over the pool. This unique design makes the pool the focal point from the ground floor kitchen and sitting area.

Due to the pool’s close proximity to the surrounding structures, a modified backfill was required before the pool’s installation to maintain its shape and structural integrity. A suitable heat pump also had to be identified as the pool only gets a minimal amount of sunlight.

To complement the house’s white palette, the clients chose a vibrant light blue shade. Its vibrancy ensures that the pool still stands-out despite being partly shaded. It also contrasts against the client’s lush landscaping and ebony granny flat. Three inset LED lights were added to create a beautiful, soft glow at night.

On top of being featured on an episode of Australia’s Best Pools this breath-taking Valentina also won Silver at the 2021 SPASA WA Awards of Excellence.
