Berkeley River Lodge
The customer required an 18m x 3.8m x 1.5m constant depth lap pool, but due to the remoteness and sensitivity of the location (in the Kimberley), a customised design in concrete was not viable. Aqua Technics Commercial offered a pre-moulded design, in which a composite pool shell was built in two 9.0m sections, shipped to Wyndham and then transported by barge (80km) to site. An installation crew was flown to site by seaplane and the two sections unloaded and joined, before being installed into a pre-built pool terrace. Installation was completed within six days and included a matching spillway spa, thereby providing patrons with both exercise and recreation options.
