To complement the classic Hamptons-style exterior of their home, the homeowners of this property in Wongamine chose Aqua Technics’ Torino due its sleek, contemporary nature.
The pool is now the focal point of the aptly named Hamptons Farm Estate in the Wheatbelt region.
Nestled between the side of the house and the outdoor area, as visitors drive up to this stunning farmhouse the installation will be one of the first features they will spy.
“The Torino’s impressive size of 11m by 4.45m was also perfect for the estate’s expansive outdoor area,” Aqua Technics Marketing Manager Maree Voss told New Homes.
“Aside from adding to the property’s grandeur, it offers the client and her family an abundance of space for swimming, playing or simply relaxing at the end of the day.”
Turning the attention back to the aesthetic of the pool installation, Ms Voss said the Hamptons Blue colour was chosen by the client to complement the coastal palette of their home.
“The shade is also reminiscent of the tropical waters of the Bahamas, which concurs with her design style – the classic American Hamptons combined with the tropical lush of the coast,” she said.
“To complete their pool area, the client added statement pot plants, umbrellas, sun lounges with white and blue accents, and garden beds with snow maiden and pennisetum alopecuroides.
“She also added white limestone coping around the pool area to enhance the white palette distinctive to the Hamptons design. With a concrete benchtop and a built-in barbecue, they have created the ultimate entertaining area that can be enjoyed by their family and guests all year-round.”
With the pool’s depth starting at 1m and then dipping down to 2m, there are multiple features that have been applied to the pool to make being immersed in it even more luxurious.
When the sun goes down, the pool is illuminated thanks to two LED lights, which provide a soft ambience. Meanwhile, lounging and relaxing in the pool is a breeze due to the addition of a wide seating ledge spanning the entire length of the pool.
Safety considerations are always important when it comes to pools, and this pool features corner side entry steps in the shallow area, as well as a safety ledge.
Even though the safety features are nice and easy to use, one aspect that was not as simple was the installation process of the pool.
“The pool’s installation date had to be pushed back because of weather complications, as the track would be too wet for the pool’s transport,” Ms Voss said.
“The property’s distant location also posed complications, as it can delay the pool’s install process.
“To resolve this, some installers stayed overnight in the local area to ensure the project’s timeliness.”
Ms Voss said the clients loved having people at their house and their guests and family had been enjoying the pool.
