Kids Paddling Pool, Wandoo Housing Project
Requirements:
The client needed a concrete toddler pool 7.8m x 4.3m x 500mm deep to augment an existing pool at an aquatic facility in Pannawonica. Because the lead time was also a consideration, Aqua Technics Commercial suggested building a pre-fabricated fibreglass pool, using a gelcoat finish closely matching that of the plaster used on the existing concrete pool. A mould was constructed and the pool built and installed in less than twelve weeks. On-site installation took only five days, thereby minimising on-site disruption, meeting the customer’s project schedule and delivering considerable cost savings compared with the concrete option originally quoted.
