The single biggest advantage of a concrete pool is the infinite design possibilities. Concrete pools can be constructed in almost any shape and depth and even constructed in conjunction with a new home. Concrete pools can be situated outdoors, indoors or have both outdoor and indoor parts. They can also include special features such as beach areas or disappearing edges where the water flows out of the pool over a feature edge.

Advanced Construction

All Aqua Technics concrete pools are designed by a fully qualified engineer to accommodate any special conditions, such as retaining walls, and not only comply with, but exceed Australian Standards relating to the construction of concrete swimming pools.

The entire construction process is continuously inspected by a qualified supervisor who checks materials, forms, reinforcement, spraying equipment, application of materials and curing. The pump, filter and any other ancillary equipment are installed by our expert tradesmen. Once your pool is completed, our qualified handover technician will show you how to operate and maintain the equipment and water quality.

Concrete Swimming Pool Standard Inclusions*


Prices are inclusive of:

  • Pool water depth 1.0m at the shallow end to 1.8m at the deep end (to middle of the skimmer box line, average of 1.4m)
  • 6m of combined step, swim out or seat
  • Step and tread tiles fitted to the edge of all steps, seats and swim outs
  • One row of 200mm x 200mm or 100mm x 200mm ceramic waterline tiles to the value of up to $50.00 including GST per m2.  Note:  mosaic tiles not included.
  • One single row of standard reconstituted limestone bullnose headers (270mm x 400mm x 40mm) to an allowance of $20 a lineal metre with mortar joints in between header course
  • One Poolrite underwater light with a blue coloured lens ONLY
  • One skimmer box and three return to pool inlets
  • A Hurlcon high rate sand or cartridge filter with a Hurlcon pump:
    • Pools with a volume < 40,000 litres are supplied with the Hurlcon ZX100 cartridge filter and the Hurlcon E230 pump
    • Pools with a volume between 40,000 litres and 55,000 litres are supplied with the Hurlcon E650 sand filter and the E230 pump
    • Pools with a volume > 55,000 litres are supplied with the Hurlcon E750 sand filter and the Hurlcon E290 pump
  • A vacuum accessory pool cleaning kit
  • White cement internal plaster finish (known as Marblesheen or white plaster)
  • Electrical connection to the filtration system and light (to a maximum of 40 metre cable run including 2 double GPO’s)
